 on Monday we went to the town hall to go to the concert well it was like a story about the Maori gods 

at the start of the show the narrator climbed up on a silk blanket it was high and he was at the top as he told the start of the story while the story happens one of the gods he had traditional clothing on and his name was Ranginui and Ranginui was married to papatuanuku and then papatuanuku cheated on ranginui so then paapatuanuku and her new husband Tāwhirimātea moved on but then ranginui faund out and got angry very angry

                                                  this is at a fighting seen of ranginui

the children of papatuanuku got separated and one of the sons ... continueing next week

 my shadow

The connections I made with the title is this Like a shadow following me.

The poem was organized into 4 stanzas with 4 lines. The rhyming pattern is AABB AABB AABB AABB .

The tone of the poem is sad. Maybe her husband died and her shadow reminds her of him.

simile - for he sometimes shoots up taller like an indian rubber ball
